Possibly the best modern apocalyptic movie I have seen in a long time. After The Postman, I was wondering where the genre was going. It’s good to see it being back and better than ever. This is definitely one of the best last year. I wish it had won more awards, Clive Owen did a fantastic job portraying an anti-hero type of character.
Just read on Engadget that the new version of Boot Camp public beta 1.2 properly supports Windows Vista. This is very good news! I want a Macbook

This is going to deal a great blow to the now disastrous PlayStation 3. Like seriously, have you been to an electronics store lately? Nobody’s been buying them PS3s and Wii is sold out everywhere. Xbox 360 have been going steady with enough hardware sales to generate a consumer base with growth. However, a few things that I’d like to see Microsoft to revise even further, maybe in time of the 65 nm revision of Xbox 360′s CPU processor.
But then again, the average consumer might not care at all. So MS may just get away with this new SKU.
Using Firefox in Vista but can’t seem to get the embedded Windows Media Player videos to play? I ran into this problem and apparently I wasn’t the only one. It has become such a problem that Mozillazine put this into their knowledge base. ActiveX is not a big deal since it’s a stupid and insecure way to present online media anyways, but I had to be able to playback WMP videos in Firefox so I decided to give it a shot and all is well.
Definitely install this if you’re a Firefox user.

Surprisingly the HD-DVD add-on drive offered by Microsoft will work on a Windows PC to do HD-DVD playback. This is quite interesting, maybe it’s time to invest in one.
LG is also prepping the release of a HD-DVD/Blu-ray combo writer to be released sometime this winter. It’s just a matter of shelling out a thousand dollars for one.
